As a menopause survivor, I understand how confusing, overwhelming, and even devastating menopause can feel.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help women like you navigate perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause with confidence and clarity.

My own menopause journey had a catastrophic effect onĀ  my health, relationships, and career, but I emerged stronger, healthier, and wiser—and I know you can too.

Today, I’m happily still married to David (28 years and counting), have three wonderful grown-up daughters, and a fulfilling new career to boot.

I love holidays, sports, and creating memories with my amazing network of friends and extended family.

Life is good, but it wasn’t always like this.

My Menopause Story

When I first began experiencing the symptoms of perimenopause—heavy, irregular periods, headaches, low energy, and mood swings—I didn’t know what was happening. I didn’t feel like myself, and like so many women, I was in denial.Ā 

I’d just started what I thought was my dream job, butĀ  felt really ā€˜off’ – mentally foggy, anxious, aching joints and bad skin, and my confidence started to crumble. I struggled to talk about it, even with my female boss, And as I dealt with family challenges like my mother’s dementia, I began to feel even more isolated and out of control. When I started experiencing sleep issues, weight gain, and night sweats, I assumed it was just stress.

I went to my doctor who suggested I was depressed and offered antidepressants.Ā  I refused and battled on.

It was only when I realised I missed 3 periods that the M word (menopause) lodged in front of my mind… and I started investigating.Ā  Hours on social media, followed by a couple of great books and some podcasts confirmed what I’d probably known deep down for months…I was perimenopausal.

I was half devastated and half relieved!

This was a turning point.Ā  I knew I had to take control, and I refused to accept the inadequate advice I was given – like ā€œjust battle throughā€ or take antidepressants. I dedicated myself to understanding menopause from every angle and discovered that menopause isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each of us must find our own path to thriving in midlife and beyond.

From Negative to (Meno)Positive

For me, this realisation was transformative. I had an ā€œAha!ā€ moment while working in Saudi Arabia, where I adopted a slower, healthier lifestyle.

I realised that many of my symptoms could be managed through daily habit changes.

This experience inspired me to improve not only my own health but also to help other women regain their confidence, energy, and balance.

As a trained and licensed Menopause Champion, with additional education in nutrition and midlife health, I created a holistic approach blending science, lifestyle, and personal experience to guide women through menopause with confidence. Ā 

My method goes beyond surface-level advice—it covers every aspect of menopausal well-being, from nutrition, exercise, and sleep to stress management and HRT options.

I believe in sustainable, realistic changes that fit into your life—because menopause doesn’t mean losing your joy or sense of self. The result is a thriving community of women taking control of their health, happiness, and future.
